Outline: Depart on a scenic drive through the modern areas of Rhodes, the port of Mandraki where the Colossus of Rhodes once stood and Monte Smith for panoramic views and photo opportunities over Rhodes and the Aegean Sea. Continue with a walking tour of the Old Town. Visit the imposing Palace of the Grand Masters, built in the 14th century A.D. and rebuilt in 1939 by the Italians in order to accommodate the King of Italy. Afterwards, walk down the Street of the Knights, with the many inns once occupied by the crusaders and the Knight's Hospital, the most spectacular and well-preserved building in the Old City.
