Outline: Begin with a scenic drive through the plains of Santorini to the picturesque village of Oia, the crowning glory of tranquillity, boasting the most superb views of the caldera. Continue to Akrotiri excavations which houses complexes of multi-level buildings, streets and squares, with remains of walls standing as high as 8 meters, all entombed in the solidified ash of the famous eruption of Thera. Next stop the seaside village of Perissa. Enjoy lunch next to the endless dark sand beach, before our final stop at Fira. Stroll through of its beautiful buildings, blue domed churches and sun-bathed verandas, as well as its boutiques and shops.
